We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. We will only work with people who treat other people with kindness and respect. We do not support criticizing any people or any products.
As is stated on our front door, there is video surveillance in every room of Gig Harbor Audio.
7 day return policy for in-state purchases of in-store factory sealed items that are already on our floor (not ordered items unless otherwise specified by Gig Harbor Audio).
We do not accept returns on out of state purchases or any trade-ins.
Deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise specified by Gig Harbor Audio.
We will give guidance on any manufacturer warranty and give support with any FedEx damage claim. If any customer is receiving a high value item shipped from us it is the responsibility of the recipient to inspect the item BEFORE signing for the shipment. If there is damage caused by the shipping company, the recipient must refuse the shipment and have it sent back. INSPECT every item you receive and make the delivery person wait there while you are inspecting it. This is their job. We have seen that all shipping companies are very good at getting out of paying for damage. This policy goes for any equipment (new or used).
We do not accept returns on any demo/used tube amplifiers/units or vintage units of any kind unless specified by GHA.
We do encourage anyone to listen to anything we have as long as they want as well as bring in any speakers or amps or CDs or sources to demo with. Take your time. We are a brick and mortar shop so we allow people to ask as many questions and listen for as long as they want and make themselves feel at home. We won’t be mad if someone listens to something in our shop, asks a bunch of questions, then goes and buys it online to save the sales tax, but we will be a little disappointed because at the end of the day sales tax goes to improve our great city of Gig Harbor and our great state of Washington. We’ll spend hours with anyone and answer any question. We are happy to ship new or used items anywhere in the country and the world, but we always suggest to people to at least try to work with local HiFi shops nearer your own location (if possible) to start a conversation with them and avoid having items shipped long distances. If it does not work out with one’s local shop feel free to call us. We will work with any kind people.
Any repair work that is done is warrantied for 30 days. We do not warranty a unit, only the work we do on it.
We do accept equipment on trade-in. We usually allow up to 50% credit towards an item. If an item is purchased at GHA, we usually allow full trade-in value within one year if trading back in for a unit that is valued at roughly double (no returns on trade-ins). This is based on condition of the unit and whether we want that unit based on inventory. All trade values are determined by GHA.
